A non-descript local tavern upscaled itself to keep in step with its rapidly gentrifying surroundings in Somerville's Winter Hill neighborhood. The new interior decor took maximum advantage of the building's unique historic details, such as the stamped tin ceilings, long buried under dark paneling and Budweiser beer signs. This cozy spot now serves casual American fare and offers nightly entertainment for area residents and students from nearby Tufts University.

Vietnamese chain in upscale Simon Properties mall. Lease requirements required a design for a complete interior renovation, kitchen, storefront and signage that could be installed in two week restaurant shutdown, including elaborate approvals process.

Cambridge, MA

Complete reconstruction of fully depreciated 2,400 S.F., two story Thai restaurant into a contemporary Irish-themed restaurant. Project required negotiating handicap access strategy with local and state authorities and Harvard Square historic district approval for design and improvements.
